Return and Warranty Policy
Important note
The terms below apply to our voluntary 60-day trial period and to our manufacturer's warranty. Both are services we offer in addition to your legal rights.
Your statutory right of withdrawal of fourteen days remains unaffected. It applies independently of the terms set out here, and you can exercise it without meeting any of the requirements on this page. You will find the details in our withdrawal policy.
60-day trial period
Nuuva Lichttherapie GmbH offers you a two-month trial period for our LED lights. It begins when you receive the goods and goes beyond the statutory right of withdrawal.
During this time, please keep the original packaging and leave the protective films in place.
If you decide to return the device during the trial period, we will refund the purchase price. You bear the cost of the return shipment. We deduct it from the refund amount.
Care and handling during the trial period
For a return within the trial period to be possible, the light must come back in perfect, as-new condition. Please note the following points:
- Keep the packaging and use it. Please keep the original packaging throughout the trial period and use it for the return shipment. It is the only way the light is sufficiently protected in transit.
- Do not remove the protective films. If there are protective films on the device, please leave them in place during the trial period to avoid scratches and signs of wear.
- Careful use. Handle the light with care and avoid scratches, knocks and drops.
- Clean environment, no strong odours. The light should be used in a clean, smoke-free environment. Strong odours, for example from smoke, essential oils, cooking or pets, can settle in the device or the packaging and make reuse impossible.
- No modifications. The light must not be opened or technically modified.
If the light shows signs of use, damage, soiling or odour, we reserve the right to charge for the diminished value or to decline the return under the trial period. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.
Registering a return
A return under the trial period requires our prior approval.
Please register the return through our returns portal. Your request must reach us within the 60-day period.
Please attach photos to your request showing the visual and technical condition of the goods as well as their completeness, including accessories.
Once we have reviewed your request, we will send you a return label with the correct address. Without prior registration and without our return label, we cannot process a return under the trial period.
Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected. It requires neither registration nor approval.
Packing the return shipment
Pack all accessories carefully into the recesses provided for them and place the light gently into the protective packaging. Please use the original packaging to avoid transport damage.
Keep the proof of postage and the tracking number until the refund has been made.
Inspection and refund
Once the return shipment reaches us, we inspect the goods and get in touch with you.
Products that come back in perfect condition are refunded in full, minus the return shipping costs.
If the product shows signs of use or is incomplete, we additionally deduct the loss in value or the cost of the missing parts. If the product is in unsaleable condition or damaged, we may decline the return under the trial period and send the shipment back to you.
The refund is made via the original payment method. How long the credit takes depends on your payment provider, which is outside our control.
If the goods are defective, your statutory rights in the event of defects apply, or the warranty, see below.
Returns from Switzerland
We deliver to the EU and to Switzerland. Because of customs and import regulations, special procedures apply to returns from Switzerland.
Returns are handled by ME Swiss Logistics and must be registered in advance through our returns portal. The goods are collected in Switzerland and exported to Germany once a week. After export, processing at the German logistics centre takes a few more days. The entire process can take up to two weeks.
Please send goods from Switzerland exclusively to the address on the return label. Returning them directly to our German address leads to customs problems and delays.
Warranty terms
Nuuva products come with a manufacturer's warranty. You will find its duration in the respective product description.
The warranty applies to devices that were originally purchased at www.nuuva.de or from an authorised reseller. The original invoice serves as proof. It also establishes when the warranty period began. For devices from other sources we cannot provide a warranty.
Your statutory rights in the event of defects exist independently of this warranty and are not limited by it.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. Products or parts that prove defective under normal use and normal maintenance are repaired or replaced free of charge.
What does the warranty not cover?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by negligence, improper maintenance or modification. Theft and loss of the product are likewise not covered.
What do you need to do?
Contact us at hallo@nuuva.de and enclose the original invoice. We will get in touch with the manufacturer on your behalf to clarify the problem and find the best solution.
Transferability
The warranty is transferable. If you sell your device on, the remaining warranty period passes to the new owner.
Here too, the original invoice is a requirement. Please pass it on when you sell the device, because without it the start of the warranty period cannot be established and the warranty cannot be claimed.
The warranty period continues to run from the original purchase. It does not start again upon resale.
Shipping costs in a warranty case
During the first two years from purchase, we cover all shipping costs in connection with your request.
After that, you initially bear the cost of sending the device to us. If the warranty case is confirmed, we refund these costs and cover the return shipment.
Repairs after the warranty period has expired
Repairs against invoice are also possible after the warranty period has expired, including for second-hand devices. Here too we ask for the original invoice so that we can identify the device. Just get in touch and we will see what can be done.
B-stock
What is B-stock?
B-stock covers products that for various reasons cannot be sold as new goods but are technically flawless. Every B-stock device is inspected by us and released for resale.
We describe B-stock by two characteristics:
Origin. Whether the device has already been used or is unused. An unused device may be offered as B-stock because of transport damage or a minor defect on first delivery, for example.
Visual condition. From as-new through light signs of use to visible scratches or dents on the housing.
Warranty for B-stock
The warranty period depends on the origin:
- Unused devices receive the same warranty period as new goods.
- Used devices receive a shortened warranty period.
The visual condition affects the price, not the warranty. An unused device with a transport dent therefore keeps the full warranty period at a reduced price.
The warranty period that applies to your device is stated in the respective product description.
As these are reduced-price products, we offer a repair in a warranty case. If a repair is not possible, we refund the purchase price. An exchange for a new, non-reduced device is excluded. An exchange for an equivalent B-stock product is possible if one is available.
Returning B-stock
The statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal applies to B-stock. The voluntary 60-day trial period applies to new devices only.
